I'm co-founder and chairman of the Dutch Java User Group (NL-JUG).

In this role I try to evangelize the Java Platform and try to improve knowledge sharing among Java developers in the Netherlands.

In 2005 recognized my efforts for the Java Community and engaged me as a Founding Member of the Java Champion project.
