Rapid Web Application development with NetBeans Visual Web Pack

Abstract

During this quicky I will demonstrate how to build a web application using the new NetBeans Visual Web Pack.
The application will consist of a login screen, it will authenticate the user and then provide information from a database. Developers will see that they can create such application very quickly and I will also demonstrate how to customize the table, e.g. to show different data, use joins to gather data from multiple tables and change the look of the web application. I will also add an AJAX JSF component to demonstate how to reuse existing components for building rich web user interfaces.
