Netbeans in Education - Netbeans IDE BlueJ Edition

Abstract

A short introduction to Netbeans IDE BlueJ Edition, a trimmed down version of Netbeans with additional features that help students and teachers to make the transition from basic to advanced tool features smooth and ncremental. We describe what was left out, what was added,how to introduce features to students, how to make use of BlueJ and Netbeans at the same time, leveraging the features of both IDEs in the learning process.
