Graduated in 1986 in Computing Studies from Hong Kong Polytechnic, Hanson has since been crazy about developing software for different industries including Banking, Payment, Tourism, Property Management and Internet e-commerce in different countries including Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, and the USA.
Hanson got in love with Java in 1997, and has since then tried to avoid spending too much time on C/C++. Currently working as a senior software development engineer at Amazon.com , Hanson has also been a committer to the Apache Software Foundation since 2002.
