Bio Jeffrey Fredrick

Jeffrey Fredrick is a 13-year veteran of the software industry with a mission to change the way software is created. A founding member of the JBuilder development team, he has been involved in Java tool development since before the 1.0 release of the Java platform. As co-founder and VP of Engineering at OpenAvenue he led the development of the first web-based collaborative development platform. Immediately prior to joining Agitar he was a partner in a consulting company specializing in the adoption of Agile development practices. Jeffrey is an experienced speaker and trainer on a variety of technical and business topics. His conference speaking experience includes 3 sessions at BorCon and he most recently presented at the 2005 Gartner Application Development Summit. He is currently indulging his passion for tools as Director of Engineer at Agitar Software and as a committer on CruiseControl, the defacto standard continuous integration tool.
