Presenting

The Future Is Open: Eclipse, Spring, Tomcat, and BEA Workshop Studio

Date/Time: 9:30-11:15 December 14th

To no one?s surprise, developers are blending both open source and commercial source to build their applications. This talk will discuss BEA?s vision for the future of building enterprise applications through supporting developers who want to build with the best technologies available, no matter how the technology is distributed. It will also cover how technologies like Eclipse, Spring, Struts and containers like Tomcat, will play an increasingly important role in the development of enterprise applications for the foreseeable future, and how BEA is supporting developers with tools like BEA Workshop. This talk will close with a discussion of how Service Component Architecture gives us clues as to how large-scale development will be done in the future.
