The Feathers of Birds Flock Together

Birds-of-a-Feather (BOF) sessions are smaller and more informal than technical and business sessions. They are typically led by one or two speakers and are held in the evenings. Some BOFs may open with a short presentation followed by a question-and-answer section, while others take the form of open, "round-table" discussions about particular topics of interest to the Java technology developer community.

Reserve your BOF session

Any JavaPolis attendee can claim a BOF session.

How to reserve a BOF session?

  1. Login to our wiki (sign up if you don't have an acount yet.... it's FREE)!
  2. Edit this page by clicking on the right hand corner Page Operation: "Edit Page".
  3. Edit the agenda and add a BOF topic and who will be hosting it.
  4. Edit the related BOF page (for example page BOF 1) and fill in the details by editing the page.
